Get rid of any previous instances of it in your multi-track session (remove the file from the session, and get rid of the clip outlines too, so nothing is set to be offline). My suggestion is to open the file in Waveform view - which will decode it it has to, as I said. Now, there's a large exclamation mark in a triangle in the corner of it - if you hover the mouse over it, what does it say? What it generally means is that you've deleted part of the file you're trying to play in Waveform view - which would certainly explain why it won't play. ![]() Well for starters, it's not possible to put an MP3 into multi-track or Waveform view as an MP3 - it has to be decoded to a wav before you can use it at all - that's the way Audition works.
